No 2 - George Love, 1801-1814, The first occupant of this cottage according to contemporary records, a member of Doneraile Yeomanry Cavalry. No 3 - The Givens Family occupied this cottage, they operated a creamery, this was an ideal site due to the artesian well which supplies water. These Cottages form a pair each with entrance hall, open plan kitchen / living room, One en suite bedroom which contains one double and one single bed. Red deal ceilings, wooden and ceramic floors, rubber wood furniture combine to give a modern yet traditional feel to these cottages. |

No 4 - Rowland Hill, 1820's, One of the most progressive tenants. He enlarged and squared the fields, erected and planted the hedge rows. No 5 - William Barry, 184o's lived in this cottage before moving to Monanimy Castle. These Cottages form a pair each with entrance hall, open plan kitchen / living room, two en suite bedrooms one with bath and the other with wet room. These cottages sleep six having two double and two single beds. It has ten foot high ceilings and pine doors. Cottage suites combined with the honey shades of walls and curtains offer a comfort and a sense of peace to our guests. |
